OK, I'm racking my brain here. This is a 70 Lady Kenmore. When did they start with the flip down panel covers? I thought they started in 70. Could this be a leftover from 1969?
Can we see the inside????

This may not be an LK. The 2nd-down models also had pushbutton timers for a couple years.
It does not say Lady Kenmore. It has an odd model no. 110.S7004802W00. Notice the "S" after the 110. and the W00 at the end. I don't know what it means. Maybe someone can Enlighten us. It does not have a suds saver so the "S" does not signify a suds model. I will try later to upload a pic of the insisde. It has the vari-flex agitator.

It is probably a Sears 900...we had that one from 1968-1990. I remember the salesman telling my mom that it was "last years Lady Kenmore" renamed and sold at a lower price. Ours was not a Suds_saver, but had the "S" on the dial anyway.....

My sister got a washer like that in her first house. Before I was really into appliances, I remember that classic machine...it worked great! The flip down panel had a woodgrain pattern on it, and there was a flourescent lamp in there too. She had the matching dryer with it too, both in Alvacado green!
She sold those with the house about 5 years ago when she moved into her new home.

Very cool machine. This I think is about the last of the metal handle grip in the lid as well.

I think the notched handle started in 72 so yeah, it's the last of the breed.
Kenmore reached it's "pinnacle" between 1968-1972. With the metal door handle, the keyboard controls, and the perm press agitate-fill feature. After 73 the machines got the plastic tub ring and outer tub, the notched handle, the FUGLY control panels, the new 'tators (penta-swirl/vane) until they hit rock bottom with DD.

Yes, your find does look very much like my 67 LK. I would love to find a light panel that is nice and white like the one on your machine (note how yellow mine has become). Does yours have timed bleach and fabric softener dispensers? If yes, it is essentially the same. My origninal gold super roto swirl agitator had stripped out splines. Jimmy (Filter Flo) located a white replacement and I assisted his repair of the machine a couple of months ago. I use all the machines twice a week. I am looking for a solenoid for the fabric softener dispenser.

Actually...... the washer that you now have was the #2 Kenmore (which was the step down model from the Lady Kenmore of the same era) washer from 1969-71. Just like the 1969-71 Lady Kenmores, the #2 Kenmores from that era also had the push-button/dial stop system. And it had three dispensers (again........ just like the Lady), as well as a Vari-Flex agitator and a full width lighted console. About the only two difference between your model and the Lady was that the Lady from those SAME years had the flip down woodgrain (vinyl) cover and a three speed motor, and your model has a two speed motor (you'll see what I'm talking about when you hook it up and turn it on).
But.......... that's a great find nonetheless.
She doesn't need a whole lot of work done to her, does she????

Mike, your Kenmore washer set looks fabulous! Im so glad that you got them and we were able to rebuild them. What a wonderful set. Still looking for the dispensers for you, be patient and they will surface somewhere........Nothing like that quiet hummmmm of a Kenmore when its agitating!

ird with the matching LK gas dryer. I used them quite a bit when I stayed with he & Rhiney before the 2002 convention in MD. And yes we did a Perm Press load or two just for Jason's honor. .

Did you check to see if they are actaully NLA? I fund this for my '78, wouldn't surprise me if they are the same

If they are NLA, shouldn't be hard to find a good used one, they used that Triiple Dispenser for a LONG time. Worst case scenario, you'll have to buy the complete assembly.
