This has been my daily driver fridge for 15 years. I bought this fridge from the original owner. It stopped cooling on 10/30. Lights, fan, compressor all appear to be working but it's not cooling at all. It isn't perfect but it was still functional until 10/30. I don't how to work on refrigerators, and don't really want to. I am trying to find this beauty a new home. Hoping that someone who knows how to work on these refrigerator's can fix this and give it a new life. Or, possibly, someone might want this fridge as a prop or something. I just don't want to see this fridge crushed. It's FREE! You just have to come get it. Oklahoma.

Too bad I'm not closer, that would look cool in my kitchen.

Beautiful refrigerator and it’s an excellent condition given its age.

This would definitely have the Segger design whirlpool belt, rotary compressor, and the compressor is probably not bad.

This compressor probably had a start capacitor on it. It’s usually either a bad start capacitor or a bad relay, even possibly an overload it could probably be easily fixed.

It would probably be best in a museum hopefully in one that doesn’t want to operate it. The power consumption of this refrigerator is about four times. What a current side-by-side would be the amount of heat. These things put off was amazing many of our customers complained that their kitchens were cold in the winter after they replaced refrigerators like this with modern ones, lol

Well do something to keep it fully authentic and intact!

It may not work but could use a bit cleaning up and saving until a new compressor and running gear can be invented or found…

What lights up in the cabinet? Where are the bulbs located?

Unusual to see the ice maker there on a middle shelf, wonder when it got moved upward in the top of the freezer space?
