Fascination

I have had a fascination with the idea of combination washer / dryers for as long as I can remember! Wish that one was closer.

Looks like the poor dear has had some exposure to the elements. Wonder if it was in a barn or even just sitting outside. "Works good" claim should be questioned thoroughly before smacking down three bills.

Ours was like this one but older (1964 from a 1963 purchase on 11/03/'63) and lasted us almost thirty years with only one major repair. The balance system took a dump aftercmy dad moved the unit to install new flooring. That caused havoc because he didn't unlock the balance system look prior to moving it out. It took over a month to get it going but Charlie, our Sears service tech, after cussing and squirming around on our new floorto get to the mechanism, fixed it by a complete overhaul.I truly miss that gas combo. The average cycle took about 90 minutes from washto dry and the clothes came out clean and fresh smelling
