Hi folks. Is there any way to change the transmission oil on my Maytag A208 washer without pulling the transmission out of the machine? The transmission is the older Pittman style (non orbital). Thanks.

Not unless you want to drill a hole through the edge of it lay the machine on its side let it drain and then refill it the same way you will have to tap a hole and thread it and put a plug in it.
Might not be a bad idea to change At this age, Maytag used to really crappy oil when they built these machines and there’s so much better oils available that might actually make it agitate a little more easily.
I would not bother trying to buy factory oil through whirlpool either.
