1995 G.E. Potscrubber 1200 ????

I have this older Potscrubber 1200 that I can't find anything anywhere about it.
The serial number does not even come up in any parts catalog.
The Timer is shot thats it and I have no clue what I am looking for.
I want to take off the Spray arm and use it in my 1986 G.E. Potcrubber dishwasher.
I can't see how in the world to take it off without breaking it. I know its
probably something really simple that will make me feel really stupid but I don't care.
I remember seeing these dishwashers for only a very short time out on the market but I like the wash arms on it. I have a Smeg dishwasher that I LOVE they make great dishwashers.
I would like to rebuild this dishwasher if anybody has any pointers I would appreciate the help

The wash arm is threaded onto the hub right hand thread. Should simply turn off counterclockwise. Pretty easy and straightforward to rebuild. I rebuilt our 1996 1200 about three years ago with a new motor, sump, door gasket, upper wash arm supply tube. Funny being a year newer ours has the older straight wash arm w/o the spinners.

I put one of these that I'd rebuilt in my sister's house, about 2003-04. It was a fantastic machine that they used and abused for about 7 years without trouble. The only problem that came up was the insulation pads inside the door came loose and blocked the detergent cup mechanism, pulled out the loose bits and it worked fine again.

Does Midwest Timer still have any stock of rebuilt timers? May be worth a call if you have the part number from the old timer. What is the problem with the timer you have now?

that wash arm was referred to as "Smart Wash".....

pretty decent cleaning all considering....

they had a display model operating at Sears, unique how those little whirly birds would change patterns with each revolution......almost resembled a ride at an amusement park...

even if you can't find a replacement timer, save that wash arm, it would fit a number of other machines.....

Oddly enough, I picked up the portable version of this machine about a week ago for free. After a good cleaning and unclogging it works fairly well. My biggest complaint is that the thing is loud enough to wake the dead! I even added a second insulation blanket and it helped some but it still roars! That odd wash arm seems to help a lot with cleaning, we had more or less the same machine as a built in, but with the standard arm and it was horrible. It shouldn't have been called a dishwasher, since you basically had to wash the dishes before washing the dishes.
