1998 Kenmore Washer

Someone was asking on another thread about this particular control panel in black so I thought I’d post this for the archive. I sold this to a customer 2 years ago and it is in excellent condition for its age. I almost didn’t let it go. This one was built the 33rd week of 1998 and this particular control panel in black was not very common. They are usually all white or all almond. I’ve only seen this particular control panel in black on 1997 and 1998 machines.

I had and sold one too. I looked for a matching dryer so I could sell it as a set, people looked at me like I was crazy when I described the black control panel! Never found the matching dryer, it's a very nice washer, though.
