Two years ago I posted on here about my new Beko washing machine. From hearing all the horror stories about Beko washers I was a bit wary about burning this machine.
All I can say two years later is WOW!!! It's been one of the best machines I've owned. It's still works and looks like it did when I took it out the wrappers.

Its been faultless. Doing at least 2 loads a day seven days a week and to be honest most days it's been doing more than 2 loads as I wash duvets every week dog blankets etc.
No mould. No smells.
For a budget ish machine I would would say buy it. Most people I know now have the same machine

Nice, bekos are good machines. :)

I thought about a Beko for my new washer but opted for Whirlpool in the end as its a brand we've had before (all are still going and one washer is 14!) and I love it! I know people slate them but I'm really happy. Glad your Beko has done well!

as I wash duvets every week

Good lord, what on earth for? Washing duvet's every week is a bit excessive, don't you think? I do ours every 6 months or so.

My partner had this machine before I moved in. It was a great machine, but I brought the Miele's with me which were still under guaruntee. We sold the Beko to a colleague of mine who still has it.

It was a great machine, lots of cycle options, wasn't stingy on the water useage and rinsed very well indeed. Highly recommended for the lower end of the market.

washing duvets every week

I wash them every week as I've got ocd with cleaning plus my dog is always on the beds lol. A quick 60 degree wash should kill the germs and any possible smells.
I've been that impresse with beko I bought a built in fan oven which is brilliant and I bought the dishwasher to ymatch as my ten year old hotpoint was on its way out. The beko dishwasher I've got to say is not as good. The results are no where near as good as the hotpoint.

Surely duvets would stay clean under clean sheets?

If you're that worried about Hygene I'm surprised you allow dogs in your bed.

My dog is clean and it's his home as well. Personally I couldn't imagine not washing a duvet for six months even if I dint have a dog. All that sweat bacteria not to mention dead skin and dust mites

I agree completely. We have 2 pugs that sleep with us. They get bathed once a week and are indoor dogs. Still- sheets are washed every other day & duvet cover once a week. They deserve to be as comfortable as we are, but I don't want the hair or any smells in the bed. Nothing wrong with being clean.

I have two cats, I change my bedding weekly and haven't washed my duvet in ages (it wouldn't fit in my old machine) and I haven't died yet. I like to be clean but they don't go in my bed and they're relitavely hygienic so I'm not worried.

Will wash my pillows and duvets soon.
