I have a 2000 Kenmore Series 90 that has died, most likely motor? Instead of repairing, We have decided to buy a new washer. So before we discard this workhorse that has served us well for 24 years, I thought I would check to see if anyone wants it for parts or use. There is some rust, and the pic of the tub shows a lot of lint in the tub not permanent marks. It died mid wash cycle full of water. I have the original manual and purchase receipt from Sears.

It probably died because there’s so much lint plugged in it. There should never be that much lint present in any washer at any time. Probably an easy fix if that’s the case for someone. If not, should be something easy regardless as these machines are very simple in repair terms and design.

If nobody wants it here, put it on Facebook marketplace for free and just add a description of the case. It’s definitely worth the work still!! Someone will definitely pick it up.

That's almost the exact same model my parents bought in August of 1999. The model number on theirs was 110.20902. We had it for 5 years until we moved in 2004, and it was the best performing versatile washer we ever had. It could thrash the dirt out of heavily soiled towels or jeans, yet gently caress clean a delicately knit lace tablecloth that otherwise never could be anything other than hand washed. It was great. I hope yours finds a good home.

Have a good one,
James
