2003 Maytag Dishwasher... HELP!!!

Hi! I have a 2003 Maytag dishwasher model MDBTT79AWS that, after years of trouble-free performance, is finally starting to have problems. It will preform normally a time or two, then it will not start running after it fills. Sometimes, the detergent door is open, and sometimes it isn’t I’ve tried other cycles, and it does the same thing. It drains just fine when I cancel the cycle, though. No error codes displayed, either. I world really like to fix it if possible. Thanks,

Sometimes Non Filling MT DW

Probably an intermittent fill valve coil, hook a 120 volt test light to the fill valve coil and make the DW fill a 1/2 dozen times or so and see if it stops fillinganp yet the light still comes on.

 

If so replace the inlet valve.
