2003 Whirlpool Washer and Dryer Catalog

Can't say I'm not tearing up a bit going though this 2003 catalog now that the direct drives have been discontinued for some time. Probably Whirlpool's best makes, models and offering ever in their history. Duet, Calypso, Accu-Wash, Senseon, Resource saver spray rinse, 3 speed top loads, dryer racks, smart dispensers, ultimate care cycles with great MOL and BOL value offering mixed in all featured in a durable long life package.

This was peak Whirlpool and perhaps the peak of the appliance industry. How I wish they could bring back all these models today as they were back then.

I have:

a GVW9959KQ1 (in excellent condition) and GEW9868KQ1 (has been disassembled for several years for swiping an element wire, needs attention)

a GVW9959KL0 (in bad condition)

a GSX9885JQ0 (has been disassembled for years but S/B in excellent condition when 2nd refurb is finished) and a GEX9868JQ1 (which is in-use at a rental property, until the renter moves out in a week/two and will need some attention)

a GSQ9669LW1 (refurb done, in excellent condition) and a GEQ9800LW0 (not yet examined/refurbed but S/B in comparable condition)

Only thing I'd add is a GSQ9669L and a GSW9559L.

Whirlpool had the best ultimate care washers.
