30 inch wide Samsung topload washer

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Well here's what I would tell Samsung to do with their

"niagra falls" washer.

Take it to Niagra Falls and do what many people have attempted to do in a barrel.

2.5 hours to wash a load? Are they being serious?

Warranty:
One (1) Year Parts and Labor
Two (2) Years Control Board<<<<<what is the labor cost to replace?
Three (3) Years Stainless Steel Drum<<<<<Speed Queen btw, offer lifetime.
Ten (10) Years Direct Drive Motor<<<I suppose this is a plus but without a working control board, it's useless.

One of the cycles calls itself "water proof". Given the lack of sufficient water these things use, that might very well be an appropriate name!

Ah, they are being released!

Well, I think the 2:30 on the display is a bad photoshop work. I just read on a spec sheet that the Normal cycle is 60 minutes.

That Niagara Wash probably either turns on the AquaJet by default or uses a higher fill - like Power Cleanse or Deep Wash cycles.

The dryers that go with these 5.6 cu.ft. front and top loaders are 9.5 cu.ft. Massive. The Speed Queen double-stack dryers at out local laundromat are 10 cu.ft.

One four the team

Someone is going to have to get a set of these and evaluate their performance.

I know the wash tub is not as deep and somewhat wider. That means a bigger impeller.

I want to embrace new technology, when it is a success.

I would like to see the drum, too.  "Wider and extra shallow" could mean many different things in advertising parlance.

You're right about getting that through the door, I hope the salespeople are trained to counsel buyers to "measure before delivery."  32" deep and 30" wide - that's a big footprint.

well the bigger footprint is sort of put around for a larger family, and with that for the most part would include a larger home!

but seriously, who needs machines THAT big!

and about time that the dryers size has met the washers capacity!

I have been walking around Sears, Lowes, and HomeDepot.....and with all these machines, waranties covering longer terms for, the stainless tub, the drive motor, transmissions, etc..........

but nothing more than 1 year on the two major causes of failure, bearrings/seals, and the electronics!....unless you buy an extended!....even then, they wont repair it, they offer a refund!...and that can be a good/bad situation!

Everyone...

Measure the access to your laundry facilities. Let's see how many people could actually install a set of this girth...

Samsung

Buying a Samsung washing machine, was the worst thing I ever did.

It broke after seven months, I eventually got my money refunded in full from Samsung directly.

"I'm on the wrong side of the pond"

See it as a trade off, Alexander: You get to have access to decent laundry equipment like V-Zug and the full Miele line-up. We, for the most part, get the third world junk.

Water-proof cycle is for garments such as rain coats, slickers, fireman's water-proof outer wear worn at fire scenes to keep them as dry as possible.
