Norge Spin

Hello...I'm deaf, my name is Peter.

I look the filter (spell) drop in the spin tub from the video...what happened??

-Peter (kenmorepeter5ab) :-)

Terry its a 1931 :), doesn't hold a real lot, even though the tub is big, but you can't have the water go over where the center post goes up and down, as it is, some water does make its way down there, but the tranny is literally open and you can oil it as often as you want and put a bucket underneath to cetch the oil. BE CAREFUL, KEEP ARMS AND HANDS AWAY FROM THIS THING WHILE IN ACTION (smiling)

hi peter

the filter was to "loose" and shook free during spin, that is all :)

ok, that was interesting

Well, it certainly would have impressed me in 1931. Today it scares the pants off me. The turnover is excellent and the sound would keep you awake.
Wow!
Bet a little bit of HE detergent goes very far in her. A very interesting washer, and thank you for sharing -
(And yes, you ought to tell Terry Gilliam about it.)
(Or maybe he grandmother designed it?)

answer to gansky

hahaha greg, actually on this older model, you can't watch the basket spin, you have to close the lid tight whereas the top of the basket aligns with the lid to keep it "balanced" but the newer models had a center post that came up part way and you could watch those spin and pretty fast too, I will try to get vids of those soon ...........thanks all for your comments :)

Another pretty neat one-washers sure did have action in those days-that suction cup agitator was sure SPLISH-SPLASHY!and homemakers in those days had to stay away from its exposed machinery-imagine watching the kids around THAT washer!

Oh a question-does that Easy machine have the gas jet burner under the tub to heat the wash water?-another hazard for those early days to the user and kids. However that gas jet would sure be neat.

no heat

never seen that, hmmmm, but no, this has no type of heater at all and that "up and down" action is VERY strong, so yes, keep hands and arms away .........
