What a find!
Well, that's worth it. Probably the best example you will find and with the Thermizer and griddle. I wonder if the Thermizer has the popcorn stirer. When you turn on a surface unit, the scale for the heats lights up, I believe. If there had been a range in that place past the stargate in 2001 A Space Odyssey, this one would have looked cold and stark enough to be right at home. Frigidaire reined in their designers considerably after the 1957 line. Most housewives were turned off by its extreme modernity. That is frosted glass in that expanse of whiteness, delicate in the extreme especially so close to so much heat, and finding it without a crack is amazing.

Wow! Nice range, and looks SO much more modern than our green 1954 30" Frigidaire!
The door is sprung, could be as simple as a spring or bracket come loose. Hopefully it can be repaired from under the oven and not major surgery.
I wonder if they're getting a new range or will just use the Corning Electromatic skillet on the counter?
