This came up on my Youtube which I thought others might like to see. Many of the kitchens are a lot older than 1960s and I saw one which looked like it might be 1970s. Memories not only of appliances but clothing and hair styles too.

Probably best to watch it from the link below, rather than in the message

Thanks! That was great.

What's that coffee pot on the table from :50-:54? Has anyone ever seen one like that?

We had an electric knife that I reduced to a smoking mess trying to slice the turkey.

We had that GE electric can opener at 1:05. WH range at 1:22.Look at all of those drawers at 2:35 with the Hotpoint oven. KDS14 at 3:33. Is that a Frigidaire range at 4:22? The front corner where the front of the cooktop meets the oven looks like my 1954, but it looks different at the back; must be a year or two newer. I think that's a Flair at 6:02 with the Radiant Wall Broiler Pan on the front element. What is the brand of that weird refrigerator in the last picture with the SQ pair and the HP built in oven next to it?

Vintage Kitchens and Hair Dos

Thanks for Posting Al, Differently mid 50s through mid 60s, boy little has changed some ugly kitchens, but when people look back on all the ugly granite counter tops and excess wood cabinets with wood floors in kitchens today people are going to wonder What Were They Thinking, LOL

They saved the best for last in that final shot with the laundry pair.  I think that skinny fridge may be a Gibson.

I love the trio at 4:12.  Future Bohemians of America member taking center stage.

I agree the last

one with the Chambers was tops! A couple looked like in mobil homes, a few in the UK, and one or two in public housing. Just guessing.
