50's Westinghouse Laundromat Dryer

This listing is several weeks old, but I just saw it. Forgive me is someone already posted it.

What a paint job. That is certainly not a factory produced color. What is that on top??

It looks like a hot plate... I think this was taken at a rummage sale. That said, I looked at that dryer in Nashville back in March. It was white then, but then I found the D6 which was a similar price, shorter distance with the 'how dry I am' music box. I guess either the seller decided to paint it blue, or the new owner decided to paint and flip it.

Blue WH Slant Front Dryer

This dryer has been around for a while and for that price they will be hauling it around awhile longer, LOL. I would not want it for free in that color.

The color is downright obnoxious. A lighter shade would be much better.
