Link is for the thread as I started this 1956 GE portable dishwasher restoration. I have also seen, in Mickeyd's thread on "<span class="threadtitle">Need Combo Expertise on GE's 66 Version" what I think is the same pump, so I'm hoping a few experts will join in and see.</span>
<span class="threadtitle">Pump works fine but leaks. It's an electric pump, says "Gorman-Rupp of Belleville OH." I actually sell some electronics to those folks, but it's 47 years too late for questions there. The motor is stamped DEC 59, so this was replcaed 3 years into usage on this dishwasher. And my 79 Filter-Flo suds model has a Gorman-Rupp diverter valve.

50's GE impeller dishwasher--akron OH
Someone said that after you search 2 years and find one, then within a month another comes along. So this time it's my maternal Grandma's EXACT replacement, black propeller GE dishwasher from the 50's. Model 1SP40N, ser 55423890. does that mean 1955 model? And it say GE Automatic Dishwasher...
