56? Norge electric range

Norge wasn't exactly a trend-setter with its designs, but even so, I doubt that's a '56.  From the looks of the sole original handle on the cabinet door, I'd say it's closer to '46.  Still, those look like kick-ass burners and I like the recessed lighting. 

 

I think that beauty Hans owns with the adjustable light bar is closer to what a '56 Norge would look like.

 

I may not like Norge's washers, but their stoves and refrigerators are an entirely different matter.

All of the Norge user manuals I have show Norge ranges with Chromalox surface units constructed like WH Corox units with a single outer ring and an inner spiral of several turns, although I have one 6 inch Norge element that has the outer ring and an inner ring shaped like Lisa Simpson's hair with about 5 points to it. I thought it was quite an attempt to throw heat as far as possible from that part of the element.
