When did you get that one, I dont remember it, Did you get the 55 up and running.Hans

Hans: Still working on getting the '56 Frigidaire dryer(Not a 55) up and running. I think it might be a timer problem. The heat stays on even after you turn the machine off. If anyone out there has any ideas why this machine will not shut the heating element off please let me know. This is a very unique dryer (It is a vented dryer & has open coil heating)- BOL Pulsamatic - Would love to get it up and running..

56 Dryer

I would begin by checking the motor start switch. The heating element is wired through a switch on the motor that is supposed to prevent the element from being energized unless the motor is running. Sounds like that switch is stuck open.
