notice the lid is on backwards..
those even went through my hands, over 20 years ago. I'm the one that reversed the lid hinges, as I had the washer installed to the right of my sink. The washer had a big teardown and new main bearings and basket drive work at that time. I enjoyed using those machines - they're very sturdy.
Then, they spent some time in the beltsville warehouse, and who knows where they'll end up next.
That's the only pair exactly like that I've ever seen, by the way. The washer uses a stop lock timer like the lady kenmores later, only instead of pushing a button to set a cycle start position, you turn the collar around the dial to the corresponding cycle..pull out the knob and turn it until it stops, then push it in. Very fun to operate.
