I believe those are the next to the TOL models. The TOL models the L1000 and the D1000 are in the Belchville museum. The Laundromat has the rapid advance timer, both have tilt-out controls and the pair came in a unique color and textured cabinet.

Very Cool machines and in easily restoreable condition, these are a must have for any serious appliance collector.
They look to be easily worth the price the seller is asking.

That may be so, but these are currently owned by the former AW member "FilterFlo" or Jimmy Schicolone (sp). Am aware that he's been for quite some time, selling off "parts" of his collection. Hes doing the same thing with the vintage-vacuums he has.
He refuses to sell, or makes quite difficult, an interested parties want of said items,IF they have anything to do with, or with anyone in any of the club(s). Connected with etc. An unknowing new collector am friends with had to "solemnly swear", and quite vigorously questioned said collector that he had "Nothing" to do with the VCCC before he would "allow" him to buy the Hoover Convertible cleaner he was attempting to purchase....
Just beware. Am well aware of his bad blood between the vac sites, and with those here. ONe had had sour dealings with him as well, since way back in 2007. Unless your still buddies with this guy, no ones gonna get them easy.
Why do I even mention any of this?? Because I can.

I met Jimmy and made a purchase or two from him, and found him to be a reasonable fellow. The price here may be fine, and since I'm a 1959 model I always like that year, but my budget won't allow it. Damn!

He sold me my unimatic. He’s a really nice guy and not weird/creepy/crazy in any way. I feel like he gave me a great deal on a near mint condition washer and gave me a set of nos bellows to go with it.
1. He knew I was a member of this site
2. It was not difficult in any way to buy my washer from him. He was very gracious and was kind enough to show me his collection.
That set he’s selling seemed nice, and clearly I had no idea what I was looking at given his asking price. He actually showed me the washer, it was functioning but likely needs a bearing, and just some general stuff. The condition was overall good and seemed restorable.

I gave Jimmy that washer many years ago to match the dryer he already had. Later he sold me a few things at what I thought were very good prices. I didn't have any trouble and he had a beautiful collection. The washer did need bearings at that time but everything worked. I see the posting is down, what was the asking price? If he is liquidating his collection, there are some really one of a kind pieces. I'd love to visit again before they were sold off. Jeff

$2000 for the pair...which may seem high, but I have well over $1500 in my 1961 W Laundromat and it still doesn't work right.
