60's Hoover Twinnie in Colorado

This looks in fab condition for its age. From the description I guess the person who is selling has not encountered one before!! This is not the first Hoovermatic I have seen in the USA, how popular were they?

In the late sixties and early seventies I remember seeing many come through our used appliance shop. They were good sellers for apartment dwellers, and were reasonably dependable. There was a Hoover parts distributor here in Minneapolis so parts were redily available.

Hoovers up here where I lived as a kid you could find one like wildflowers in a field

grandma verla had 2 in her life before she got a regular GE filterflo

they were fun to use
