is the same my parents had when I was growing up. Haven't seen one in a bit...

That dryer is either a 1966 Model 70, or a 1970/71 Model 70. In 1971 there was a revised 1970 model with a revival of the 1966 console. There may have been a few color differences, but they looked enough alike to be almost identical. With this dryer, I am leaning toward the 1966 model however. My neighbor had this model; it made a racket.
