Would anyone have, or know where I could find the lower pump housing (black plastic)? I believe the Frigidaire part number is #7538340. Mine broke at the point where the support bracket (which connects to the outer tub via a spring) attaches with a screw. I tried J-B Weld with no success. Too much tension at that location.

Thanks Guys. Have a great weekend.

Let me ask a question in regards to this. Since this has broken in that area are you having any leaks as a result of it? The reason I ask is that my Rapidry has this same type of attachment for the balance spring to hook to, however my '65 does not even have that on the pump and the spring attaches to the outer tub and then hooks in one of the holes on the mechanism bracket. I'll be glad to elaborate further if it will help you.

i can probably help you out

i take the pumps off all my rollermatics and gravity drain them. and i now have 6 of them. can you send me or post a pic of what it looks like. i know the two speeds use a different pump than the one speeds, i also don't have a 67 model, mine are all 65 or 68. but anyway if ihave one that will be identical i'll give it to you.

Thanks for the feedback guys. No, the pump is not leaking however there is no support now on that side of the tub, and it's leaning to the 11:00 position. The pump housing has a little reservoir on the part that the hose connects to (I guess it's like a vacuum break or something. I will try to get a picture of it and attach it. There is a strap of metal with holes on it that attach to one screw on the pump housing. I tried to find another attachment point, but there is nothing in the vicinity. Other than that, it works like a dream.

the two i have removed

from rollermatics so far are both off 1965 models and i can see they are different from the above pics. i have not torn into the other 4 rollermatics yet, but they are later models so again i might have one that will fit it. but it looks like rich (train guy) has you fixed up! great! what heaven that would be, to have a room full of frigidaire parts, new in the box!

rich i would love to visit you but pittsburgh is too far for me to travel on a day off at the present time! but you sure have beautiful machines and it sounds like a ton of parts too!

That's the one Rich!

I just emailed you my address (and a little note). Thanks buddy.

Pete, thanks for checking for me. See how the '67 WCIL has that little reservoir on the output? I think it's there to prevent water from being sucked back into washer (like a vacuum break).
