But what is the wash cycle temperature? Maybe it's not hot enough to dissolve everything and you're getting a buildup of gunk. That's my first go to. Second is to be sure the bottom spray arm is actually revolving by opening the door a few times during the wash cycle and looking to see if it's in different positions from the previous.

My dispenser is the hinged type. Cavitating exactly the symptom. At first it sounded like the pump was failing. A low grinding sound. As time went on, it became worse. You can hear it is starved for water. The fill period is time controlled. If the fill hose on the side of the machine isn't calcified, it must ne the control board. Our water isn't hard.
