So that's why the motor smells and the lights blink

Greg, you know, I'm sure, that the the hi speed on the KA is the same as the low speed on the WP, and although the KA agitator has been living in the WP, I use the low speed all the time and it works just fine. For kicks, however and for a suds-return, I use the hi speed, but if I let it go too long, that nice, electric, too-hot-motor-smell ensues, and the light over the washer starts to blink like Christmas. Ah to live on the edge.
