Virginia Patterson Hensley aka Patsy Cline was born in the Shenandoah Valley in Winchester, Virginia.

I have friends that make that joke to every once in while, in the beginning it would upset, but anymore I just ignore it.

She was only 30 at the time of death, but she lives on through her music. Crazy is the number one song played on jukeboxes, VH1 voted her #11 in a greatest women in rock countdown in 1999, and #1 in CMT's greatest women in country 2002. She even has a star on the Hollywood Walk Fame 1999. One diamond album three platinum albums and 3 gold albums. It's sad she was more famous after her death than before.

Love her music, the early stuff is pretty amazing and really shows the talent in her voice.

CD Set

I have the 4 cd set, and I really enjoy the live recording, especially when she is talking before or after a song. I think I will have to listen to them while I do some housework. She did a version of It Wasn't God Who Made Honkey Angels, it's far far better the Kitty Wells version.
