Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support AutomaticWasher.org:

In 1962, Whirlpool closed the range factory in Hamilton, OH. They had purchased it from RCA in 1955, which included the right to use the RCA trademark for a certain number of years. They did not open their own plant to manufacture ranges for several more years, so in 1964 they would have been made by another company. The ones shown were made by Roper, and are virtually identical to the Kenmore models of that time.

I think the dishwashers were made by D&M, as Whirlpool didn't open their Findlay, OH facility until 1967.
