Great Westinghouse find, Pat! Thanks for posting it.
Those are the coin-op dry cleaners found in the laundromat I grew up with. Although we usually took our dry-clean-only items to the local dry cleaner, my mom sometimes sent me with a bag of clothes to use the coin-op machines.
Bonus: We get to see the 2nd generation of those cool little round, coin-op bolt-down washers, as well. The ones shown, which didn’t have an exposed fill tube and also stopped action when the door was open, replaced the original version of the washers at our laundromat, which had both an exposed fill tube and did not stop when the door was open.[this post was last edited: 1/8/2020-12:19]

EPA would never allow such machines today, nor should they truly have been available to public then. As with so many things rush to embrace modern design and appliances over ruled common sense.
"Perc" was then and still is a rather nasty solvent, not something you want exposure to in high levels.
It is also important to remember despite what that Westinghouse video shows dry cleaning is not simply a matter of inserting dirty laundry into machine, then taking out perfectly clean, dry and ironed/pressed things later.
Dry cleaned items must be dried, then finished (pressed, ironed, shaped, etc...) just as anything else laundered. Certain soils/stains must be pre-spotted to ensure removal, and or that dry cleaning process does not set them in.

It seems that WH, WP, Norge, Speed Queen and Philco-Bendix all used parts from their Washer-Dryer Combinations to build self-service dry cleaners.

We did laundry at a coin-op outfit (Norge toploaders) during a vacation trip many years ago. There were a couple dry cleaning machines. I opened one, put my head into the drum and inhaled, and immediately could not breathe. Frantically motioning to my mother that a serious problem was happening but she hadn't seen the event and couldn't grasp what was happening. Took a good minute+ (seems like) to clear up.
