Yes Austin I know your birthday isn’t until the end of August but your birthday present is officially on its way to Texas. I want you to have this extra WO-65 that I restored last month. I already have a WO-65 and I certainly don’t need two of them so I want it to go to a home that I know will love and cherish it for years to come. You are a wonderful member of this club and we are very lucky to have young people such as yourself and Jamie and others so young interested in these fantastic old machines. Your parents were wonderful enough to arrange the shipping, so its on its way, it left here this morning.
When I was 17 I would have passed out right there and then to be surprised with a working 1952 Frigidaire washer. Heck with a 17 year old getting a Unimatic that means there is a chance of a Unimatic washer still running in the 22nd century. How fabulous is that!
