Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

The controls are like my 1918, but the wash temps on mine are 190, 180, 155, 140, 120, 105 and 85 in the Cotton cycle. Funny how the door opens from the opposite side also so that the big door did not block the dryer when it was installed to the right of the washer. The regular washer doors are hinged on the right.

Allen, that's not a private seller, rather a shop that has been having it on the salesfloor over a decade.
This is a built-in model (no countertop and kitchen/laundryroom cabinet door fitting). Built-in Miele washers are far more expensive than freestanding ones, so they are harder to sell.

850 USD is a nice deal on such machine. To have a clue on current built-in models in Europe (W 2809i and W2839i) are close to 2k euro

@ Tom : both miele built-in washers and dryers come in two version (left-hinged and right-hinged) so that one is free to have washer on left dryer on right or viceversa

That 1930 has the same temp options as on my 1918.

The only real useful programming option is to raise the water level to high for rinsing. The other almost useful programming option is to add a rinse to the "rapid wash" option, taking it from 2 rinses to 3, but then that defeats the reason for having a rapid wash option.

I have one of these in the warehouse. I'm tempted to bring it home but will likely end up being sold. I wish I could make up my mind.

This is almost exactly the washer I purchased (also new) tho' mine may be a year newer as it heats up to 190 in the cottons cycle. Same 1600 rpm spin speed, etc. I love my machines..got the washer and matching T1520 Dryer from a RETAILER at $699.00 each new and unused in 2008.

The no windo is a dealbreaker???

It has not to be one. I saw a model where the decoration panel was taken off so you could watch the wash tumbling away!

Ask Launderess, her W 1070 is like that ...

however she survived to the lack of a glass window, as most people survive to a dishwasher without a window [webmasters are not included LOL ;)]

Nope, Doesn't Bother Moi!

Lack of a window on my washer that is.

At first it did kind of rub me the wrong way, but now that one has gotten used to the thing, can tell by various sounds if things are going well, or not. Since 99.9% of the time things are A-OK really aren't that upset one way or the other.

When we had a cat, he did like watching the wash go round and round in a previous front loader, thus it was good for "cat sitting". Provided endless hours of keeping pussy busy, but he's now pushing up dasies, so that is that.
