A Cadet Blue GE Fridge/Freezer Combo

Great fridge. These 50's GE's that started having the colored interiors definitely look better with some exterior colors rather than some others.
How come so many vintage fridges are missing their crispers? Perhaps a fairly thick book could be published on their many alternative uses. I sure can't come up with any good reason to separate crispers from the mother ship, but apparently a lot of people out there have thought otherwise over the decades.

Ralph - agreed, great fridge, and what a cool color!
I grabbed blue drawers from a yellow '55 combo that would look great in this fridge.
I wish my job was to drive around the country and save ranges, fridges, dishwashers, and washers. If so, I'd be getting the trailer hitched up for this beatuy tonight!

I know when people trade in their old 'fridges,for a new one, they put all their food in the old crispers, until the new one is set up and running. Then the dealer takes the old one away, but forgets to take the drawers.
