I'll see your turquoise, and raise you one!

Making progress in the kitchen.  Got the last of the base cabinets painted yesterday and the doors re-installed this morning.  I suppose the countertops will be next; I just want white plastic laminate (no postformed allowed).  Still undecided about the floor.  I have removed the existing floor (was VCT over sheet vinyl) and am liking the bare concrete, but after finishing the base cabinets I think the floor needs to be light.  So the existing slab won't work.  I am still leaning towards VCT, just am not thrilled with the ongoing maintenance required.  There are two sheet vinyl samples in the photos.  Mehh.....

Hey Lawrence Here is my 2 cents for what it is worth....lol I truly think the black and white floor would look FANTASTIC with your color scheme and is pretty timeless look. I love the colors you have chosen BTW looks awesome. Steve

Yes,

and maybe even a yellow center diamond inlay in vinyl. Lay your new vinyl floor, then cut the center pattern out with a utility knife. Cut the inlay section out of a yellow piece of two or three yards, then glue it in with floor mastic.
