Colloquially known as the Chambers Model "D"

officially it was the "M-9H" or some such... made after Chambers was sold to RangeAire around 1958... we had this exact range, but with gas burners, a few years ago, typical Chambers quality, weighs over 500 lbs... you really need 4 people to move one! This electric version is seldom seen.

We got rid of it and use the '58 GE at home now, but an Electric Chambers "In-A-Wall" oven at camp, with a Chambers 27" propane gas cooktop, as the electricity goes out on a fairly regular basis there!

It's in beautiful condition, and for the way it's built, a steal at $500.  The perfect solution for the person who loves the Chambers look, design, and engineering but hates gas.

Chambers made some real styling advances before they were bought by KitchenAid so that KA could have a line of builtin cooking equipment; you can see the modernity that RangeAire brought to Chambers. I think I remember that John did service for an architect that had an electric Chambers, but all of the surface units were 8 inch. This range also looks like it has 8 inch surface units.

In the trade-in blue book, the model AR-9-H appears in 1967. These models are 38 inches wide.
