A fantastic plastic/metal restoration product!

Holy buckets, I found yet another compound that I love, next to mothers polish!

SwirlX! WOW! Its made for removing light swirls on car paints that polishing causes.

Decided to give it a try on my vacuums hoods.

It does a beautiful job! Removes that ugly cloudy effect, and brings a shin to even the dullest of hoods! Worked on my hoover 63, 28, and 29 like a dream!

Here is a before picture of the 63. Note the cloudy-ness.

And here is a terrible after picture. Doesn't show too much. Had to kill all lights as all I got was glare. So here is it with a camera flash. At an angle.

But if you notice, you will see a much cleaner, smoother appearance than before.

Should have took a before and after shot of the 29. It was far more dramatic!

I think my mom got it at a car parts store, like Autozone or advanced auto. Im sure any auto store might have some similar stuff. You can buy it online.

Now all I need to do to this 63 is get it running! The bearings are DRRRRY!

I've seen that Swirl-X before, good to hear it does a good job. I should try it on the faded and abused Formica top of the Power-Surge but I think it might be too far gone.
That 63 looks minty fresh!
