Breeze...

I bet you didn't find that Breeze powder in the Albert Heijn supermarket. I've never seen it here in the Netherlands.

Yeah - it was sold at albert Heijn... It's made in Trinidad/Tobago which is why the wording is English. The Albert Heijn here is almost completely dependent on KLM and daily cargo shipments. They do get some items from the neighboring islands and Venezuela.

Aha, an Albert Heijn with a Caribbean touch... Probably the only one of its kind in the world. It must be rather expensive to supply that supermarket all the way from the Netherlands. I just looked for the price of the Neutral fabric softener and it's here 1.52 euro (ca. 3.65 NAF) for a 500 ml bottle. That type of Persil detergent was not available in the store where I did my shopping today. That is not uncommon. I have to visit several AH supermarkets to find all the products that I want.

That Persil has a very pleasant scent - much better than the AH store brand "wit."

Persil sells out quickly here. I was hoping to get some persil colour but when I went back it was gone.

KLM and AH had an agreement here but the locals have been protesting and in the past week a new import tax has been levied on all the products AH imports. Aside from that price hike the prices for goods has been very low here.
