Last week I made a little trip to Germany where I visited two collectors. I only took pictures at Raimund's and not enough! I was too busy looking at the washers! LOL

Nice to see those. I always enjoy seeing the older Euro machines probably because when I was a kid they looked so different and tres moderne compared to ours, just like those 60's Bosch and Braun small kitchen appliances did. Not that I don't like the vintage American designs either cause I do but they could never duplicate the real euro look the few times they tried. Couldn't resist putting on a little too much extra flourish and ended up ruining it LOL. aka the Sunbeam euro mixer LOL

Louis that Miele 505 Automatic is stunning! It looks like its in mint condition as well!

I love the German washers from the 50's and 60's. Only in white, but the design is fabulous. The Miele 505 shows that white on white can be interesting too, not as boring as the modern white on white designs. The Miele 505 is a 380 Volts machine, but with a few changes it was possible to connect it to 220V.
