A good day, 2 dishwashers and a WP BD

I had a reverse

rack Maytag (the portable version of the very model shown here) for 21 years (73-94), and it was the best cleaning dishwasher I have ever used, so far.

I never had to prerinse. I scraped, but never rinsed.

My biggest design gripe was the cutout for the wash tower.

I'd adopt it, but I have NO room.

I never pre-rinsed with my reverse rack Maytag - only scraped the dishes. And I only ran the dishwasher when full which could have been 3-4 days (since I was single at the time) but still everything got clean. I never had a problem with the silverware not getting clean either. The cutout for the wash tower would have been my biggest gripe also. I did like how all the tines on the upper rack could be folded down to accommodate large pots, etc.
