Help Support :

Bill in AZ, I doubt there is anything you'd gross me out with. There's no such thing as too much FURR!!

And Bill in MO, I've known you too long to have no doubt about you and GM Frigidaires. And when I found out you were into washers, well that tied it all together--or maybe it's that just tied you up!!!

I think orientation identification is irrelevant. Doesn't make a bit of difference to me. I just like to read what everyone has to say on here and put in an occasional comment when I have something to say. That is what I enjoy about this site. Thanks to Robert for making it happen.

I had a feeling there was a bunch of "family" here. LOL. Well now I feel welcome lol. Oh by the way brettsomers, that's a great picture of Miss Crawford. Adds a nice touch!

Gay? Yes! And I have my Judy Garland Fan Club Card to prove it. Now, I think I will go listen to my favorite version of "The Man That Got AWWWAAAAYYYYYY!!" Love you all!

I like a place that's gay -friendly,

I like being able to let my hair down and be me. There are lots of sites where even the slightest bit of cattiness or arched tone gets the political correctness pigs or, worse, the christianists out after you.

Here, everyone - straight and gay is welcome. Thanks to Robert!.

Gay!:?!!?*&!???

Gay identity for this writer has been less of an issue than the interest in old washing machines. Even gay friends of mine think my appliance fascination makes me a deviant perv-boy. To find a haven like this site where I can, as one of you said it, let my hair down(LOL all gone, years ago) and be me has been priceless. I've never joined or contributed to anything on the Web but this was irresistable and the fellowship I've encountered here has restored my faith in humanity during these incredibly selfish and suspicious times. Gay, shmay. I've said to many people "boys are boys, even if they're girls". After using this site for more than two years it dawns on me that my appliance "fascination" is absolutely no different from a "straightie's" fascination with cars, new and/or vintage. For me, it was also a way to connect with my Father who didn't work on cars, because we didn't have one downstairs in the garage like in the burbs, but he did work on electrical stuff in the house and that included the appliances. I learned a lot about electricity and how it worked. Maybe the female side of me was also fascinated by the Susie homemaker aspect of Les Electromenagers, but the way we talk, conference, trade and interact is so positively middle America that intelligent right wingers might be surprised. We're simply a selection of spectacular TOL's (in glorious decorator colors)scattered throughout a showroom packed full of white BOL's.

11.6 cu feet!

Wow!
Imagine that!

But they had compressors and refrigerants which would easily do twice the size of our 21 cu ft. refrigerators today!

No wonder they last forever.

Beautiful! Thanks, Ken.

I think the gay community is probably more threatened by the queenly bitches who sublimate their self-loathing than by the christianists. Now that shrub and his ilk are off the stage, we finally have a chance to be seen as what we are. Humans.

Ricky5050: Where did you get the shirt you're wearing in that photo? I've been looking for one like it.

Thanks,

Jeff

PS I tried emailing you, but it got bumped back with an "invalid domain" error.

I just love that floor in the Kelvinator refrigerator ad. I would enjoy a kitchen with that floor and pink appliances.
