I stink so. Savage claimed to be the first to dry laundry without a wringer, but it came along in 1932 and the Laun-Dry-Ette came out in 1920.
Something I remember from the advertising is that those rings in the outer tub caught the rinse water as it was spun out and led to a drain so that the wash water was not diluted by the spray rinse water. I am not sure about that, but seeing those rings recalled something from the memory vault.
