Talking with one of my coworkers this morning about my obsession with detergents...nice to be able to talk to normal folks and not looked on as a freak, eh?

Well anywho...he only had this to give me from a tour he did in Iraq....

Interesting....isn't it....wonder what it smells like...LMAO.

OMG- It's Real

Retromom:

I really thought you were 'aving us on a bit, but it turns out this is real. "Barf" means "Snow" in Farsi. The detergent seems to be a leading brand in Iran.

I honestly thought this was payback for me showing you somebody's junk ;-)

LMAO~

Undoubtedly it smells exactly like Barf.

Is that a silent f?

Hysterical. I want some. Oh that's funny~.

Special note to danemodsandy

Dear Sandy,

Retromom is the "nice" mom....
Maytagmom (moi) is the "evil" mom....

Although her and I both have tons of things in common, (female/moms/Texas/coffee pots/retro/etc...) we are no way one & the same.

PS: *waves* Hey Girlie! ;-)

This gown was NOT washed in BARF.

Joe, you bring up an interesting question . .

It makes me wonder how many people in Russia actually have a dishwasher? Maybe the commercial is trying to portray an "upper class" family who would have a dishwasher, while at the same time promoting a product used by all of the classes?

Or I wonder if quite a few people DO have dishwashers, but prefer to do the dishes the old-fashioned way. My grandmother NEVER uses her dishwasher. She prefers to wash them by hand. Some of my Hispanic co-workers say they don't like to use their dishwashers because they've always done them by hand.

Or they could just be OCD like me and actually WASH their dishes before they put them into the dishwasher! I do this, of course, because my BOL Hotpoint can't do much more than just sanitize clean dishes! LOL.

In the garden of good and evil...

Let's just say, I am....ummm...different. ;-)

She's pure...(oh god she's going to kill me) and I'm SO tainted....use your imagination on that one...LOL

'Nuff said!

And Bryan...if you do find some BARF...will you put it in a (barf) bag and bring me some? ;-)

*tapping foot...STILL waiting for a visit*. :P~

"It makes me wonder how many people in Russia actually have a dishwasher?"

Not many, especially outside of Moscow....and the few you see are overwhelmingly the countertop variety.

"My grandmother NEVER uses her dishwasher."

I do use it occasionally, but if there were a way I could remove it and replace it with another kitchen cabinet, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Unfortunately, it would not be feasible in my particular situation.:(

"Russian Dishwasher
Can't find much about them on google
Any help?
This company makes them"

Believe it or not, Whirlpool is a big name in appliances there.
