Hi everyone,
Wanted to share a recent completed project.
The Maytag A806 was bought from John Lefever (Combo52) and imported back to Australia in 2016. The Avocado panels were also sent from John a couple of years earlier.
I decided I'd like it converted to Australian 240 volts and finally had the time to do it.
So, I changed and added the following:

A 240 volt motor from a LAT9704 parts donor machine

A 240 volt timer motor from a A9400 parts donor machine

The motor start capacitor from the A9400

A 240 volt water valve assembly

The 50hz pulley common to Australian imported Maytags

And probably the best part was a Stainless Steel Bowl from an Australian Wilkins Servis automatic plus a Kelvinator fixed vane agitator.
And yes, I didn't feel I had the time and parts to install a new 240v fluoro light so I cheated somewhat I installed a LED strip light: if it's not to your liking so be it!
I'm very happy with the results: and yes; I know the lid is a bit squeaky as has been commented on my YouTube channel! Lol.
Cheers
Leon
