The creative plumbing is temporary, honest... I am waiting on a replacement fill hose that should get the original GE Unicouple and hose assembly back in service. Of course, once that's done, I will put the front panel of the 'maid back...

I ran the day's dishes on the 'Daily Dishes/Mixed Loads' cycle because I figured they needed the pre-wash!
Question: would it be considered heresy if I could somehow put a light on the timer dial??

Were just fine! I am always amazed at how well the older GE impeller dishwashers can wash... As if anyone doubted, this one's a keeper!!

playing with a washer or dishwasher to cheer one up! at least it works for me! i'm testing my 1-18 tonite and am nearly orgasmic!

personally i would not do the lite! just my opinion! it didn't come with one! but then who gives a **%$# what i think!

Thanks for your insight, Pete! BTW I am totally thrilled about that 1-18! That's the first Frigidaire washer washer I remember actually using...

we have the same machine. You inspired me to start working on it again. I just got the ge quick connector apart and the old nasty hoses off. What size is the male end this part connects too? Thank you.
