Hello everybody,

I am back with on my site 4 videos of very famous washing very in France. It's from 1975. It has the option biological treatment and a glass lid (drum on horizontal axis). You see the functioning of valves and rapid advance of the timer to cancel certain phases of the programme "permanent press". I hope that you enjoy.

Very kool, and interesting photos. It looks as though there might be an early 60's GE and Kelvy in onesome of those photos,as well as some kool European types.

What a great machine!
I love the fast tumble during the wash. Love the splash on the window at the start of the spin.
Thanks for the videos.

that I love

Hi and thanks for your messages.
I love the start of the spin cycle too with a lot of water splashes against the glass lid.
I think dyson was a good machine with a very effective wash.

Flandria Twin tub

The pulsator on the bottom of the wash tub looks similar to the UK Rolls/Colston design. I wonder if Colston and Flandria were related?

When I was watching the Flandria video, I swear that I could smell the hot soapy water!

Flandria

Colston and Flandria weren't related. Flandria was the first company of domestic washing machines in France in 1898.
And you're right: when I made the video, it smelled hot soapy water!! And it's the same odor with the hoovermatic...
