Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Congrats Bill...that WO-65 is just MINT!! Good luck on the restoration!

The "dropped ring" syndrome is no big deal. Glenn's WO-65 has the same problem that I haven't addressed yet, and the ring on my WO-65-2 was getting a little "loose". I just put a thin layer of blue RTV silicone between the ring and circulator column, waited 24 hours before the next wash, and problem solved!!

Congratulations Bill, the machine looks to be in great shape. Any idea if it runs? Must have been fun to find this beauty. Do you have any idea of its history? Thanks for sharing. Terry

Wow - what a find! Chi-town estate sales are probably premo places to find the goods! Looks like it is in great shape, and amazingly even has the owner's manual too. Let us know if it runs, I'm curious.

Greg, I would have but it did not fit my petite little frame.

Anyhow...............

Thanks for the notes. The machine does run but has a few problems. The timer doesn't advance so it needs some attention. The water runs out of the tub into the cabinet. Talking to Greg it is in need of a water bellows. As soon as I can get it into my basement I'm going to take her apart and get her restored. I'm sure I will have some questions and will let you guys see the progress.

I think there is supposed to be a cap that fits on the top of the pulsator. If so, does anyone have an extra or know of a source for one?? I'm also searching for a water and oil bellows.
