A new replacment "Nutone" kitchen center

I just saw these for sale on Ebay. New built-in kitchen centers with attachments that will accept original Nutone attachments. These are not built by Nutone, probably made in China. I think I'd be a little ascared to go cutting out countertops to try one out though.

But I agree with you. I'd be a little nervous especially for that price.

When I was catering

in peoples' kitchens, I used a few Nutone food centers, and I found them pretty, but under powered, especially compared to a real Cuisinart.

If I were to go to the extremes of cutting a hole in the countertop I would only go for the Bosch built-in figuring they'll probably still be in business for quite a few more years. This Nutone clone reminds me of a Bosch Universal mixer clone on the market up until about a year ago called the Concept 2000 or something. It was a near identical copy of the Bosch so much so that you could barely tell them apart. It was made in China as well.

I should have said, the clone to the Bosch Universal was called the Dimension 2000,not the Concept which is a true Bosch mixer.
