And this time I'm not talking about me I'm talking about this delightful Canadian Beauty percolator made by the Renfrew Electric Co of Renfrew Ontario. That's somewhere north of Toronto towards Montreal. Have no idea what year it's from only that it's in minty fresh condition, cloth cord too.

Then also sitting in the jumble at the Goodwill was this camera in its case which was mummified in the usual Goodwill tape to keep all the pieces together. I extricated it at the front counter and it was a name I'd never heard of before. A Zenit Model E 35mm. So on the off chance I brought it home. I know nothing about cameras. Turns out they were made in the USSR. Lots on Ebay and not worth much :(

Nice catch there Petie.

The percolator bears a striking resemeblance to a Farberware my mother has that does not shut off on its own. Hers has an interesting fuse wheel within as well. Seems to be for boil-drys.

I would guess

late 1930s to early post-War.

It's quite a looker.

The Zenit camera is a great one for children, nearly indestructable.
