Here she is, posed at the fireplace. Miss Connie Constellation!

It really seems to be a well built machine: Lightweight, but solid, quiet, and with very good suction - it vacuumed the cat hair on the couch right up! And talk about floating!

Even John (who has no design agenda, and MUCH higher standards than I when it comes to cleaning) likes it just fine. So the Eureka has been relegated to the back of the bedroom closet (for the big jobs) and the Constellation takes her place in our own personal universe.

The only thing that would make it better would be if it were wireless

Fabulous! Welcome to the Constellation family!

In comparison to other turbine nozzles, I have been really pleased with the one that accompanies the Constellation. It actually cleans my frieze carpeting...

And, yeah.. floating! It really hovers nicely.

I like your idea about it being wireless. That'd make it uber-cool.

Where did you order it from? Still no word on when we'll be getting them at our store... I'll try to poke around tomorrow and find out.

Fred, I got it at allergybegone.com, after a hot tip in one of these postings. They have it in stock, it's a few bucks cheaper than Best Buy, and it's FREE shipping!

Yes! They are available in 240, however are called a Maytag Satellite.

Hey Guys...

It's not that they aren't supplying us with them... They just haven't made them available to use as of yet. Probably because they granted exclusivity to other stores-- i.e. Best Buy, AllergyBeGone.com, etc.

They will be here one of these days..
