The design is from the 50s, but the color makes it no older than second half of the 60s. Of course, if this family is like mice and breeds as soon as they are able, you could have a new generation every 12 to 15 years, which would be about the level of education exhibited in the posting and might explain the hard use the "Blender" received. This was probably replaced in their batterie de cuisine by another model from the same thrift store where they found this one. Note that without the turntable they just use two of the small bowls. Does anyone remember GE mixers with those textured glass bowls?

beaded ge bowls

I do have two sets of the GE bowls in white and clear glass. Beaded texure and with the GE logo embossed into the glass on the bottom of the bowls. The turntable is small in that the larger bowl fits completely over and around the turntable while the small bowl fits within the ridges of the turntable.

I have also seen this bowl in a chear brown tinted beaded version.
