I know most people think of the blendor when they hear or see the Waring name, but I found a can opener. Wednesday I happened to stop at one our local charity (thrift) shops, and found a harvest gold opener with a faux wood grain panel on 1/3 of the front side. It has the little grind stone in back for sharpening knives, and the opener mechanism snaps in place to hold it securely while in use. It was $1.99 + .11 tax = $2.10. The link will show you what mine looks like. I can't get over how much they're asking for the one in the Ebay link.
I've been searching for a vintage electric opener lately because my wife has been having problems with trigger finger in her right hand due to her diabetes. It cleaned up great, and works like a dream!
P.S. It was made in Japan, believe it or not.
