Estate Sale

I was at an Estate Sale a couple of weeks ago and this dishwasher was in the kitchen in coppertone. I took a peek inside and it was pretty beat up. The poor dear looks as if she had been run hard and put away wet. I asked the Estate Sale folks if they knew anything about it and they did not. This house was like a time capsule back to the mid to late 60s.

Went yesterday to look at this set. I had been searching for a yellow kitchen and a dishwasher was one of the pieces that I was hoping for but not expecting. The oven was in pretty good shape albeit needing a cleaning and detailing and all of the knobs were there and original. And the same would be true for the stove top and the outside of the dishwasher. On the other hand the inside of the dishwasher looked as if it had been used only on holidays. The basket and racks looked almost new and there were no signs of hard water anywhere. The stove hood will have to soaked down to remove all of the grease and nastiness; any suggestions outside of Simple Green? All in all a really pretty set once it’s cleaned up and it matches my yellow 64 fridge perfectly. It is all still wrapped up in the back of my pickup and I didn’t have time to look up the serial numbers before my 3 hour drive home; can anyone give me an idea of what year this set is? I was thinking 1965ish?

These could be a couple of years newer, maybe 1967. The wall oven shows up in my 1966 catalog, and the dishwasher is in my 1968 catalog. I do not have access to the 1967 version, so could be the year for both of these.
